NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Mackford Annual Meeting will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Town Hall, N2270 County Road A, Markesan, WI 53946.

2. Adoption of Agenda
3. Approval of minutes from April 15, 2025, Annual Meeting of Electors 
4. Set date for 2027 Annual Town Meeting 
5. 2025 Annual Report 
6. Discussion and possible action on matters that are raised by the town electorate

Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 60.11, no public notice of an annual town meeting is required if the annual town meeting takes place on the third Tuesday in April.   

If the annual town meeting is not held on the third Tuesday in April, the meeting may be held within 10 days after the third Tuesday in April, but the notice must be published not more than 20 nor less than 15 days prior to the date of the annual meeting.  See Wis. Stats. §§ 60.11(2)(b), 60.11(4) & 60.12(3).  Note that the decision to change the date of the annual town meeting must take place at a preceding annual meeting.  As an example, to change the annual town meeting date for 2026, the electors would have had to set the 2026 annual meeting date at the 2025 annual meeting.
